Let's say I want to release my Twine game in multiple stories, which I decide to call chapters. And in each chapter, the ending might be slightly different depending on what choices the player chose. Is there a way to have the next chapter play out differently depending on what ending the player did in the previous chapter? Essentially I'm looking for a way to connect multiple chapters together, so that choices from a previous chapter affects what may happen in the next one. Is there any way to do this?

If you know a way to do this, please reply. Thanks!

I'm not sure if there's a way to do this, but in the next chapter each time couldn't you just ask the player what ending they chose?

Ye Old Trust System^

Or, to be a little more secretive about it, give the player a code at the end, and make them recite it at the begining to force them along the same path.

or do you mean that the player makes loads of choices throughout the chapter, not just one at the end, in which case Glitchy's solution would work better
